Nigeria's House of Representatives has urged the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami , to intervene in the case of the former National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party, Olisa Metu, to enable him seek proper medical attention abroad.
This was contained in a motion calling for Metu's healthy state to enable him face the trial before him.
The former Publicity Secretary had on Monday appeared at the Federal High Court, Abuja on a stretcher.
He is standing trial for alleged money laundering of 400 million Naira which is said to be part of funds linked with former national security adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki.
